Yes, it's true, the moment has arrived - our little baby is big enough to start eating solid food. Last night Lydia had her first bite of rice cereal and did surprisingly well. She opened her mouth like a big girl - I'm so proud! And she didn't hate it - a look of confusion came across her features for a minute while she contemplated this new taste, but she swallowed and opened her mouth for more like an old pro. Yea, Lydia!!
I hope you'll also notice the picture of Iris decked out in her baby feeding gear (bib, spoon, bowl). She had a good time pretending she was eating baby food as well!
